Army of Frogs

My dear friends, here’s one candidate for the impossible class riddles. Hint: use your imagination rather than logic on this one.

From north and south, from east and west,
A mighty frog army amassed.

So high they jump, so loud they croak,
That I can hear them from home.

Here come the Frog King and his Queen
Holding a lit match in between.

The crowd stops croaking in the night;
All pay attention to the light.

Why are all frogs gathered like that?
What do they want? They wait for what?

Not fireflies!

Fireflies are those bugs which glow in the dark, right?

Not those! Methinks them froggies are waiting for those the type of bug that flies towards the light!

I think they are evolved from termites, dunno what they are called.
