I was whole but you’ve undone me.

You gave me eyes but I cannot see.
You gave me ears but I cannot hear.
You gave me nose but I cannot smell.
You gave me mouth but I cannot speak.

My brain you had for dinner.

Now you expect me to light your way,
And to scare those weird creatures away.

Who am I?
