Today, we have a spider telling us a riddle. Honestly, friends, this one’s so easy that even a fly could guess it.

In its web though you are caught.

The mouth I close has many teeth.
They interweave as I go by.

With blades one thousand, sharp and swift,
And hundred horses, thirsty herd,
The chariot attacks the field
In times of prosper life and peace.

Creatures of the world have different tastes.
Soft pillow for cat.
Hard metal for horse.
Warm leather for man.

Chain of hungry rings,
First it eat,
Then it sleep,
Then it fly steep.

Rounding small.
Useless alone.
But two are strong.
Two make a bond
That’s tied by tongue.

You bury me.
Out come I.

You take me to the shape-shifters.
Changed am I.

You take me to the bazaar.
Sold am I.

You take me to your home.
Owned am I.

You take me everywhere you go.
What am I?

You cannot see me, but you want me.
Look for me no more, for I am inside you.
When you realize this, you have found me.

Talk me into doing my job, you cannot. Hit me you have to.
But carefully hit me, or yourself hit you may.
Stand tall and proud I must. For should I bend, failed the task be.
